(Luis) Eugenio Sanhueza
Holding a BA of Engineering (Hons), a Master of Commerce (MCom) and being a licenced real estate; Christian began his career at an automotive machinery maker in Hamamatsu-city Shizuoka-prefecture, Japan.
From engineering, Christian moved to the company’s marketing department to work in international sales, a skill he built upon when he returned to Australia to work for Mitsubishi Electric Australia, in a Customer Sales Manager role. In 2001 Christian joined Barua Pty Ltd working in Design, Construction, Project Management and Property Management. He now manages the company including its Finances, Insurances and Administration as Managing Director as well as managing other companies and investments.
Peter holds a BA of Engineering (BE) from the University of Sydney and has previous extensive experience consulting in both Civil and Structural Engineering projects working for major consulting firms such as, the world-wide consultancy firm, Rust PPK.
Peter’s background also includes previously working as a Director of a Private Engineering Consultancy where he honed his skills of design and documention of single dwellings to multi storey buildings. Peter’s personal experience involved working on projects ranging from $20 million luxury homes in Sydney’s Point Piper to $40 million land subdivisions.
Peter has a strong design aesthetic judgement, a strong visual capability and a talent for Construction and Project Management allowing him to take a project from inception, through council approval processes, to building and finally completion.
Peter is actively involved in the Design Development, Construction and Project Management of all Barua projects.
Holding a BA of Engineering (Hons), Eugenio is actively involved in all aspects of Barua’s Real Estate Development from Site Acquisition, Design Development, Construction Management, Project Management, Marketing and Property Management.
He plays a key role in taking a project from inception to the sale-ready entity with his extensive knowledge base of construction techniques and strong communication skills.
Eugenio has vast experience in construction previously working in many roles including, as a site manager on many small and large Residential Projects and Commercial Properties in Sydney.
Working for major Construction Companies such as B + B Constructions (Baulderstone Hornibrook, a multi billion-dollar Australian construction company) amongst others, he built for major Sydney developers such as Winten Property Group (1994, $19m residential development), and Consolo Group (1997, $8.5m mixed use development), as well as for the Australian Government, part of the team building their regional tax office in Hurstville (1994, $30m office building).
